Privacy Policy

Overview
Vixor ("we", "our", "us") is a live-streaming app that lets you broadcast video from Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses to viewers on mobile or web. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.
Data We Collect
- Camera & microphone — used solely to capture and transmit your live stream. Video and audio are routed through LiveKit (a third-party real-time media service) and are not stored by us unless you explicitly enable recording.
- Push notification token (FCM) — your device's Firebase Cloud Messaging token is sent to our servers so we can notify you when someone goes live. It is not shared with third parties and is deleted when you uninstall the app or revoke notification permission.
- Bluetooth — used only to discover and connect your Ray-Ban Meta glasses to the app. Bluetooth data is processed entirely on-device and never transmitted to our servers.
- Room codes — short alphanumeric codes that identify a live stream session. They are generated on-device and are ephemeral; they expire when the stream ends.
Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any account information. Vixor requires no sign-up.
How We Use Your Data
- Transmitting your live video and audio to viewers in real time.
- Delivering push notifications about live stream activity.
- Maintaining stream session state (active room codes).
Third-Party Services
- LiveKit — processes real-time video and audio. See LiveKit's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — delivers push notifications. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Meta Wearables SDK — facilitates Bluetooth communication with Ray-Ban Meta glasses. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
Stream sessions and room codes are deleted from our servers as soon as a stream ends. FCM tokens are retained only while the app is installed and notifications are enabled. We do not retain video or audio recordings.
Children's Privacy
Vixor is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
Because we collect minimal data and no account information, there is little to request or delete. If you have concerns about data associated with your device's FCM token, uninstalling the app removes it from our systems. For any other requests, contact us at the address below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Vixor after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
